Avenged Sevenfold emerged as one of the most promising new bands in 2004. Otherwise known as A7X, Avenged Sevenfold combine elements of metal, hard rock, 80's shred riffs, and progressive rock overtones. The band weaves intricate vocal melodies with complex guitar riffs into 7 to 8 minute epic offerings. Avenged Sevenfold's "City of Evil," is a modern rock masterpiece featuring top notch musicianship, classic rock ballads, and heavy progressive rhythms. The band has been working non-stop and released a new album in the fall of 2007 "Avenged Sevenfold" and a new live CD Live in the LBC and Diamonds in the rough". 2008 featuring a collection of B sides and new live concert DVD.
